“The more isolated and disconnected we are, the more shattered and distorted our self-identity. We are not healthy when we are alone. We find ourselves when we connect to others. Without community we don’t know who we are… When we live outside of healthy community, we not only lose others. We lose ourselves… Who we understand ourselves to be is dramatically affected for better or worse by those we hold closest to us.” ― Erwin McManus
Welcome to the final post in our “Exploring Your Faith” series. If you made it this far, congratulations!
Up until now you’ve explored what it means to connect with God, to adopt a spiritual practice, to be more compassionate and generous, and hopefully you’ve learned a lot more about yourself and the journey you’ve embarked on.
We recognize you’ve probably had some “ah ha!” moments and some “huh?” moments. This isn’t the end of the journey and we’d love to continue to be your guide as you explore faith on your own terms.
We also believe this journey is best taken with fellow travelers. If you’re looking for community and belonging we would like to invite you to keep exploring with Social Thread.
If we haven’t already we’d love to connect with. You matter and your journey matters, regardless of where you’re coming from. Shoot us a message, say hello, and let us know how we can help you continue this journey of faith.
We hope to connect with you soon.
