Welcome to the Journey
Our primary belief system is the Golden Rule: treat others as you would like to be treated, or as Jesus said: Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27). Similar teachings are found throughout the world’s religious, wisdom, and philosophical traditions.
Those words resonate with us because we think they provide a roadmap for what it means to be human.
We welcome everyone, regardless of political or religious affiliation (including none at all). We welcome those who have questions, doubts, and fears, and would like to explore all of those things in an open-minded, non-judgmental space.
Welcome to what it means to explore life on your own terms.

What We Believe
To love God means to have your own understanding of being a part of something that is bigger than yourself, how that connection functions in guiding and shaping your life, and what practices you use to facilitate that connection.

In order to explore faith we should consider departing on that journey with an open mind. We can do this by having a better understanding of who we are and who our neighbors are, finding community, and joining with our neighbors in making the world a better place by taking care of who Jesus calls “the least of these.”
Jesus says our lives matter and that we are not alone. By looking inward we can know where we are on our journey and where we want to go, ultimately discovering our purpose in life. By knowing ourselves better we can set the terms of our faith journey so we can continue to grow as better friends, neighbors, coworkers, spouses/partners, parents, and humans in general.
